Among the Azeri poets of the 9th/15th century mention should be made of a Tabrz. He wrote a manaw entitled Ysof wa Zoley, and dedicated it to the q Qoyunl Sultan Yaqb (r. 883-96/1478-90), who himself wrote poetry in Azeri.
